Our client based in Chessington, Surrey are looking for a suitably experienced Credit Administrator.

To cross reference all Group accounts, to ensure all necessary inquiries are initiated and a realistic credit facility is applied and regularly reviewed.

Updating database from credit application forms returned by customers, ensure that all customers are correctly identified.

Assessing credit limits on the basis of credit application, account and other relevant data in accordance with established procedures.

All accounts to be vetted through company.

Contacting customers to obtain accounting data, normally audited/management accounts.

Check letters to customers with daily audit list.

Updating the database from bank reference received in conjunction with the existing file to ensure that any change in wording quality is noted and acted upon as necessary.

Dealing with customers queries.

All increases/decreases are recorded on daily work sheets, for copying on demand.

To communicate with sales/customers on status of current or new account facilities.

Check departmental diary for accounts/bank previously requested.

To order credit watch on specified accounts ensuring frequent reporting.

The successful applicant will have worked in a similar role before, ideally in a wholesale environment.
