Job Description
Based in the City my client operates within UK & European Finance and
Insurance sectors as a consultancy/advisory business. My client has an excellent reputation for delivering excellent service and value to their clients. To maintain this reputation and meet the increased demand for its services, my client is now seeking to recruit an experienced consultant.
A highly motivated individual, this candidate will have a direct impact on sales and solutions through a predominantly client-facing leadership role, whilst working within a leading-edge team of risk practitioners.
Experience required:
Strong experience in Risk or Value Management
Industry experience in retail financial services or insurance
Preferable experience managing small team
Functional expertise preferably in the areas of Fraud Management, Underwriting,Pricing, Portfolio Management, Customer Profitability Management or Collections & Recoveries
Expertise and skills required:
Ability to autonomously lead projects in risk management
Expertise in using analytical skills to gain business advantage
Presentation skills: should be adept in defining & delivering presentations in English
Ability to take up business development as a part of his/her daily job
Skills in business and financial modelling are an added plus

EDUCATION:
Educated to degree level in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, actuarial science
or related discipline
Postgraduate qualifications with good business exposure is a plus
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Provide leadership to successfully deliver projects for clients:
o Get specifications, requirements from the clients
o Work with analysts to define data requirements
o Remove/ workaround bottlenecks in the project through creative
solutions and successfully engaging clients
o Take decisions on changes to the direction of the project
o Provide leadership by example to team members
Add value by;
o Understanding and mapping client processes
o Finding innovative solutions to client issues
o Conducting detailed analysis to support decision making
o Embedding latest risk techniques and academic thinking within the company through
research and on-going relationship with universities
o Identifying and developing business leads
